Wickhay Green Play Area
Wickhay Green Play Area can be accessed from Spring Close of Jarvis Field. It contains swings, slide, basketball and football area.
After many years in the planning at long last the Fund Raising Team led by Claire Hodgson and Mary Buckley have raised the money to install a new playground for our children. The Play Area was officially opened by our Mayor Councillor Alan Arnot on 17th October.
Well done Claire, Mary, Tina Claridge, Sarah Moran, Fiona Walker and Kathryn Wilkinson, and a special thanks to everyone who has supported their efforts.
This is an ‘unsupervised’ play area and parents are responsible for their children when they are using the excellent new equipment.
